Why is training a necessity in today’s education system?
Using best practice from the field of Bullying & Violence Prevention and Intervention Strategies, we provide a strong understanding of how to create, develop, measure and evaluate school connectedness. By guiding and assisting with the positive development of classroom/school climate and culture, we ensure environments where students feel safe, accepted and respected regardless of their gender, race, culture, religion or sexual orientation. This training also includes current social media trends, violent behaviour patterns, all facets of bullying and successful intervention strategies.
This type of training fosters networking & inter-professional communication amongst community partners. – Counsellor, Mackenzie
What does training look like?
Our training is offered to schools, school districts and associated professionals; to develop and enhance protocols for safe and caring schools. School administrators, district psychologists, student services coordinators, counsellors, police, community mental health professionals, child protection workers and others in relevant positions should be trained. Tools, resources and other take aways will be provided for all attendees.
By far one, if not the, best presentations I have attended – this courses has made me feel more confident in identifying early warning signs and opened me up to realizing I must share info with other agencies. – RCMP member
