This training is designed to equip law enforcement professionals with actionable strategies and cutting-edge tools to efficiently identify, investigate, and respond to threats of violence and worrisome online behaviors reported or detected within schools and communities. The course provides targeted resources and tactical guidance to help officers take swift, effective action when faced with these critical scenarios.
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, law enforcement plays a pivotal role in ensuring public safety, and this training is tailored to meet the unique challenges faced by patrol officers, investigators, school resource officers, criminal analysts, and other personnel involved in threat assessment and online investigations. Safer Schools Together’s (SST) Digital Threat Assessment® (DTA) training is renowned across North America for empowering law enforcement to proactively address the growing complexity of digital threats. By applying a Safety and Threat Assessment lens, this training equips officers with the skills to establish a Digital Behavioral Baseline, track potential threats, and document worrisome online behavior across popular social media platforms. SST’s general cancellation policy states that tickets for their training sessions are non-refundable. If specific cancellation policies apply, they would typically be detailed at the time of registration or on the event’s information page.
Safer Schools Together (SST) reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training. If SST cancels or reschedules training due to weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of SST, you are entitled to a full refund, but SST is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation. If SST cancels a training in which you are enrolled, you will be contacted at the email address you provided when registering, so please be sure to provide a valid email address.
Any cancellation or transfer made by a participant needs to be in writing. If the registration fee has already been paid, a credit will be applied for a future training course unless a refund is specifically requested by the agency at the time of cancellation. A $50.00 administrative fee will be applied for any refund processed, and a $25.00 transfer fee will be charged for any transfers between classes or attendees. Any request for a refund must be done 10 days prior to the training date.
An email will be sent to attendees 2 business days prior to the event date with the Zoom information to join this session. Please look out for this email and check your spam/junk folder in case it is routed there.
If you can no longer attend a training after registering, you should contact SST directly as soon as possible. While the general policy indicates that tickets are non-refundable, we may provide options, such as transferring your registration to another session or another individual, subject to their terms and availability.
