How long will I be certified?
Instructors will receive a two-year Safer Schools Together certification to conduct Digital Threat Assessment® and/or Cyberbullying sessions within their own district.
Are there any prerequisites to entering the Train the Trainer program?
Yes! The Train the Trainer Digital Threat Assessment® and Cyberbullying have prerequisites that must be completed prior to the Train the Trainer session.
Train the Trainer: Digital Threat Assessment®
- *Prerequisite Track 1: DTA® Module and Introduction to BDTA® Module®, Essential Social Media Modules (Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok) via ICDTA®
- *Prerequisite Track 2: DTA® Live Training
Train the Trainer: Cyberbullying:
- Foundations of School Safety Module and Cyberbullying Module via ICDTA®
How long is the Train the Trainer program?
The duration of the Train the Trainer varies:
Digital Threat Assessment®: 12 – 16 hours.
- Prerequisites: 4 – 8 hours
- Train the Trainer session: 8 hours
Cyberbullying: 10 hours
- Prerequisites: 4 hours
- Train the Trainer session: 6 hours
